Million Dollar Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken rotisserie, boiled, or baked
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or preferred cheese
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder optional
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and condensed cream of chicken soup. Stir until smooth.
  • Add shredded chicken and shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until combined.
  • Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free crackers and condensed soup. For extra flavor, mix in seasonings like Italian seasoning or smoked paprika. Serve with rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
